The U-14 hockey team headed to the final 4 at St.Mikes College this past Friday. The team had a very good season and was looking forward to the challenge ahead. In the semi-final they played St.Mikes (white) and played a strong team game from start to finish which ended up in a 5-1 win. This advanced them into the final against the first place (regular season) St.Mikes (blue) team. In front of a pro and very boisterous St.Mikes crowd the team stayed focused and disciplined throughout the game. They jumped to a 2-0 lead and when St.Mikes responded to make it 2-1....the crowd was pumped. To the boys credit they did not relent and eventually came away with a 4-1 win to be crowned CISAA champions. Congratulations to the U-14 team!
